The process for creating basic Wi-Fi configurations in KACE Cloud MDM is the same for all operating systems; however, there are some variations in accepted EAP types for enterprise security.

During the + Add New process, the accepted EAP types for each operating system are denoted by the OS icon.

Note: For Windows, only one EAP type selection can be applied. For Android, iOS, and macOS, multiple selections are possible.

Add to Device

1. Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
2. Select one or more device names from the list.
3. In the right panel, choose Wi-Fi.
4. Click Add New.
5. Select a Wi-Fi configuration from the Library list.
6. Click Install on Device.

Remove from Device

1. Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
2. Select one or more device names from the list.
3. In the right panel, choose Wi-Fi.
4. Select one or more Wi-Fi configurations from the list.
5. Click Remove, then Confirm Remove.

Add to Library

1. Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
2. Click the Wi-Fi icon.
3. Click Add New.
4. Name the configuration, add an SSID, then select proxy setup and security type.
5. Click Save.

Edit in Library

1. Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
2. Click the Wi-Fi icon.
3. Select a Wi-Fi configuration from the list.
4. In the right panel, click Edit.
5. Update fields and selections, then click Save.
